I have been involved in the music industry all my life, teaching, playing, recording, and for over 35 years, repairing and restoring guitars, my first love. This broad range of musical experience enables me to meet you where you are in your musical journey, and to understand just what you want and need from your instrument.

Since moving back home in 1987, I have operated Suttis Guitar Technologies Ltd., a full-service fretted instrument repair facility, in Atlantic Canada. In addition to providing service to guitar players in general, I have been privileged to have as my customers many of Atlantic Canadas top musicians, collectors, and high-end instrument owners.

Areas of specialty which have become my trademark include:

• Restoration and refinishing of high-end and vintage instruments
• Custom made nuts, saddles, bridges, pickguards
• Neck straightening, contouring and resetting
• Repairing broken headstocks and necks
• Custom installation of leading-edge electronics

In addition, we are the factory authorized warranty repair service center for Charvel, DeArmond, Fender, Gretsch, Guild, Jackson, Martin, Rodriguez, Sigma, Squier, Taylor and Yamaha.

I am available to conduct clinics and seminars on guitar care and maintenance at my shop, or at retail locations throughout Atlantic Canada; and offer one-day courses for guitar owners (see workshops for details)
